Our First Round of Workshops - Summer 2019

We're also ready to announce three new workshops for this summer! Drumroll please!

Our first workshop this round is Intro to Chip Carving being taught by Amy Costello on August 23-25th. In this class, students will learn the basics of English-style chip carving technique, learn how to sharpen their knives, play with developing new designs, and carve a set of coasters!

Our second workshop in this round is Making a Cabriole Leg with Mitch Odgen on August 31st. In this class, students will learn how to draw and refine a cabriole leg pattern, then execute one from start to finish.

Our third class this round is Intro to Chainsaw Milling, being taught by Kevin Richards and Devin Stratton on September 14th. In this class, students will learn how to use and maintain a chainsaw, learn how to safely mill lumber using a chainsaw, learn how to store and season green lumber, and mill up a couple slabs that they get to take home!
